Established in 1996 to protect and improve the environment. Within England responsibilites include amongst other
things, water quality and resources, fisheries, inland river, estuary and harbour navigations.
British Marine is the trade association for the UK leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry.
The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads is Britain's largest protected wetland and third largest inland waterway, with the
status of a national park, looked after by the Broads Authority.
