We aim to give a decision as soon as possible. Provided we receive all the paperwork requested in the application pack we aim to give a decision within 48 hours.

We will consider all inland waterway vessels. Residential vessels must be constructed of steel, but we will consider GRP vessels for leisure use.

We will lend over terms between 3 & 10 years dependant on the age and construction of the vessel.

Yes. We can lend up to a maximum of 75% of the value of the vessel.

Our application pack details all our requirements but basically, we need permission to carry out our own background checks, proof of income and deposit and your last three months bank statements as a minimum. In some cases, we may need additional proof of ID and address.

As a responsible lender we are checking that you will be able to afford to pay the loan in addition to your other financial commitments. We understand that these may change once you purchase the vessel so the application pack includes an income and expenditure statement you will need to complete based on your projected outgoings once you have purchased the vessel.

All our decisions are made by experienced people, not computers. We will get to know your circumstances and use our judgement on whether your CCJ would affect your application. If you know, or think you have adverse credit information registered against you please include details with the application as this will speed up the process of getting a decision.
